Nick and Lynn are having a barbeque party on the 4th of July (Starting at 3pm and going well into the evening, including several fireworks displays --- compliments of the surrounding Cities!). We would appreciate having you and your extended family come to our home to celebrate the Holiday and also learn about one of our favorite causes --- the Myanmar Charity Group!. Myanmar Charity Group is seeking your assistance to continue providing additional relief items such as food, water, medicine, and shelter reconstruction through local contacts. 100% the donations are provided to an established distribution network operating within Burma and the results are continuously updated and posted on the website! Donate Lime and Phenol to Hlaing Thar Yar & Shwe Pyi Thar schools Based upon information received from UNICEF we have learned that 15 camps which are actually schools in Hlaing Thar Yar and 11 camps in Shwe Pyi Thar are in need of Lime and Phenol. The government will vacate these facilities after local schools reopen on June 2. |

Emergency Relief after Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar We have started our field operations as of May 9, 2008. We felt that we should do the assessment first so that we will know what the immediate needs are. We spilt into two groups and one went to Khawhmu, Konchangone on and the other went to Phyarpone and nearby villages for assessment as well as donation. |
